Joy from Above. Sacred gifts from healing angels….

If you’ve read my memoir, A Charmed Journey, you may have come to the understanding that sharing my life’s journey lies within offering personal stories and spiritual messages when observing the “Extraordinary” in action. Expressing my thoughts about living a spiritually driven life is the catalyst that fuels my soul whether it be communicated in paperback, ebook, video or a post in a social media newsfeed. And yeah…I get it! I know my stories may seem a little “out there” for some, and that’s okay! We do what we do to understand the depths of who we are as spiritual beings having a human experience. Life is about growing, sharing, caring and evolving and that is why we need each other— in relationship(s). The path of seeking consciousness remains in the journey inward; but be mindful that your greatest teacher may be represented in the behavior reflected from others, so that YOU can recognize and fully embody the gift of Presence in each moment.

Excerpts from: A Charmed Journey: An Inspired Guide to Personal Transformation

I didn’t grow up as a bible thumper, but I did grow up Catholic, going to church school on Wednesday’s and mass on Sundays. My mother would come into my room, bright and early Sunday mornings, get me out of bed and help me get ready. I would moan and groan about having to go, sometimes threatening to wear my pajamas; but my mom didn’t care. Her response was: “God doesn’t care what you look like, just as long as you show up.”

The Message:

As I was sitting behind a couple of women at church, I was admiring the holiday decor and noticed the beautiful angel glorifying the top of the Christmas tree.  Feeling a bit taken back by the essence of merriment that filled the air, a slew of emotions began to satiate my mind as I thought, “I wish my mom were here. She would really love it.”

Within seconds, the woman in front of me stood up and began taking off her coat. She leaned towards her friend and says, “Sometimes it’s more important to just BE HERE. I thought about wearing my pajamas this morning.” (chuckle chuckle)

Overhearing this comment made me laugh because it reminded me of what I used to say to my mother when I was 8 years old– especially when I was busy hiding under the warm covers and adamant about defying her instructions. .

This particular conversation between two people whom I didn’t know, not only put a gigantic smile on my face, but also served as spiritual messengers in reminding me that love never dies—it only transforms.  And although our loved ones (two-legged and/or four) are no longer at our side, their spirit is eternal–and often enhanced with a sense of humor.

So as you move throughout your daily life…..

Remember…..

The holiday season has the tendency to stir up emotions such as grief, loneliness, and sadness stemming from a devastating loss. Be with it. Cry. Be upset. Allow yourself to experience the emotion that desires to be expressed.  This is the path to healing.  Situations present “itself” so you can heal yourself–and to give YOU the gift and opportunity to choose Grace.

When using your “eyes to see and ears to hear,” the sacred signs of hope are omnipresent and represented in an array of forms: physical and non-physical, human and non-human. And if you shall wonder if your life is being held in the arms of Unconditional Love; stop what you’re doing, close your eyes and breathe deeply. For it is within the silence of the mind that eternal wisdom and guidance will reveal itself to you, and your path becomes clear as the warmth of Goodness fills your heart with JOY.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas,
~Angela

Fall into Abundance!

Fall has arrived and it’s time to reap the benefits from the seeds you’ve sown and harvest the fruits of your labor.  This is also the season for transformation –and embracing change.   The energetic shifts that occur during this time of year are palpable.  Not only can you feel it, but you can see it!  Ranging from various outdoor color schemes and mother nature’s furry creatures acquiring new winter coats, to the desire to eat hearty foods  –change is pervasive.

And…it’s the opportune time to purge, and release stagnate chi or energy that may be holding you back.  The Universe works in mysterious ways.  But, in order for new opportunities, people and experiences to present themselves, it’s essential to make “space” for the shift to occur—in the mind, body and environment.  Through intentionally letting go of excess baggage, you are communicating to the Universe that you are ready to move forward. The Universe is an unlimited supply of energy– trust it.  Be willing to let go of anything that is no longer serving you and detach–and this includes “stuff” –the material possessions you continuously find yourself shuffling from one corner to the next.

So, I wanted to share with you a feng shui tip that I make an effort to do every spring and fall.  I clean house by clearing stagnant energy using lemon or orange essential oils and scrubbing the floor, baseboards and door handles.  I also re-organize and give away clothes, books, stuff and remove clutter.  I consciously move the energy in my house and office by  “shifting” the chi: cleansing, shedding and purging.  Remember, if your mind-set enforces insensible thoughts such as  “there is not enough to go around, so I better keep this just in case” then you’re demonstrating a scarcity and lack mentality; therefore, closing the door for new opportunities and limiting the Universe’s ability to graciously give.  If you believe the Universe is abundant, it will be.  If you believe there isn’t enough to go around– those beliefs will materialize as well.  You get what you focus on —consciously or unconsciously.

Purging can be a daunting process. Start small, but tackle it head on!! Begin with the basement, a corner in your house, the closet or maybe a drawer. Recycle papers, magazines, computers, clothes, blankets, or whatever it is that is taking up excess space.  And, if the articles are still in good condition, consider donating these items to the homeless, schools and pet shelters.

The heaviness of toting around physical clutter can be quite cumbersome. Cleanse your environment and physically make room for abundance–internally and externally.  Besides, it’s always the giving season!  Share. Donate. Be a blessing and you will be blessed.  What you give away is returned and magnified.  You reap the seeds you sow.
