If you've read my memoir, A Charmed Journey, you may have come to the understanding that sharing my life's journey lies within offering personal stories and spiritual messages when observing the "Extraordinary" in action. Expressing my thoughts about living a spiritually driven life is the catalyst that fuels my soul whether it be communicated in paperback, ebook, video or a post in a social media newsfeed. And yeah…I get it! I know my stories may seem a little “out there” for some, and that's okay! We do what we do to understand the depths of who we are as spiritual beings having a human experience. Life is about growing, sharing, caring and evolving and that is why we need each other--- in relationship(s). The path of seeking consciousness remains in the journey inward; but be mindful that your greatest teacher may be represented in the behavior reflected from others, so that YOU can recognize and fully embody the gift of Presence in each moment.
Excerpts from: A Charmed Journey: An Inspired Guide to Personal Transformation“
I didn’t grow up as a bible thumper, but I did grow up Catholic, going to church school on Wednesday’s and mass on Sundays. My mother would come into my room, bright and early Sunday mornings, get me out of bed and help me get ready. I would moan and groan about having to go, sometimes threatening to wear my pajamas; but my mom didn’t care. Her response was: “God doesn’t care what you look like, just as long as you show up.”
As I was sitting behind a couple of women at church, I was admiring the holiday decor and noticed the beautiful angel glorifying the top of the Christmas tree. Feeling a bit taken back by the essence of merriment that filled the air, a slew of emotions began to satiate my mind as I thought, “I wish my mom were here. She would really love it.”
Within seconds, the woman in front of me stood up and began taking off her coat. She leaned towards her friend and says, “Sometimes it’s more important to just BE HERE. I thought about wearing my pajamas this morning.” (chuckle chuckle)
Overhearing this comment made me laugh because it reminded me of what I used to say to my mother when I was 8 years old-- especially when I was busy hiding under the warm covers and adamant about defying her instructions. .
This particular conversation between two people whom I didn't know, not only put a gigantic smile on my face, but also served as spiritual messengers in reminding me that love never dies---it only transforms. And although our loved ones (two-legged and/or four) are no longer at our side, their spirit is eternal--and often enhanced with a sense of humor.
So as you move throughout your daily life.....
The holiday season has the tendency to stir up emotions such as grief, loneliness, and sadness stemming from a devastating loss. Be with it. Cry. Be upset. Allow yourself to experience the emotion that desires to be expressed. This is the path to healing. Situations present "itself" so you can heal yourself--and to give YOU the gift and opportunity to choose Grace.
When using your "eyes to see and ears to hear," the sacred signs of hope are omnipresent and represented in an array of forms: physical and non-physical, human and non-human. And if you shall wonder if your life is being held in the arms of Unconditional Love; stop what you’re doing, close your eyes and breathe deeply. For it is within the silence of the mind that eternal wisdom and guidance will reveal itself to you, and your path becomes clear as the warmth of Goodness fills your heart with JOY.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas,
** IN-Spirit-ational Story**
While I was on my walk this morning, the thought occurred to ask permission from a dear friend if it was okay with her if I shared her story on my FB page in a public forum. And her response, verbatim, “Absolutely ok with me!!!! I know how difficult this journey is so if it helps someone else…that is a gift that I can share.”
So my intention is that this experience may offer a sense of peace and solitude for those who may need healing and hope … along with the understanding that it may also “ruffle a few tail-feathers” and challenge particular belief systems. Either way, I trust in Divine timing and know that NO ONE is ever alone on this journey. With respect, Angela

A few months ago, *Mary’s 30 year old son suddenly passed away, in which, led her into my office for additional insight on death and transformation. Mary also wanted to know if her son was “ok” and mentioned that she would be traveling to spread his ashes over this past weekend (didn’t tell me where) and wanted to know if he would give her a sign that he was present. And my response was, “Yes. You will see a starfish with 3 rhinestones. He wants you to know that he is happy, healthy and is surrounded by Unconditional Love. All is well.” Moments later, she left my office …..
The following day she sent me this picture and message via text…..(photo available on my Facebook page)
“A beautiful day. *Michael was here as we celebrated. Within minutes of stepping off the plane I spotted the starfish!!!! As you said! Three rhinestones. We shared, cried and laughed. Michael is happy. Michael is home. You have helped me so much.”
Love never dies; it only transforms. Everyone, whether you are aware of it or not, is on a path to discover who you are at the core of your Being. Trust in the process and connect to the Source from which you were created. YOU are a Divine creation and the power to change your life is only a breath away….
Based on the In-Spirit-ational work that I get to do, I often hear extraordinary stories from clients who are looking for a bit of insight about their current situation. Many of the stories are unforgettable, heart-wrenching, and loving moments in time when I even say, “WOW! Holy Smokes!! Really??!!”
I wanted to share with you a story about a man and his dog. This is proof of how our beloved animals are not only reliable companions, but spiritual messengers and healers. They invite us to take a deeper look into our own hearts and examine the energy we may be subconsciously projecting to the world around us. Animals are highly sensitive creatures and have been given instincts for a reason. To keep them safe!!! Like you and me, we all want to feel safe, secure and unconditional love.
Animals have the uncanny ability to teach us how to better master ourselves through demonstrating acts such as: trust, detachment and unconditional love. Animals also have the tendency to mirror our deep- seated wounds, pain and unresolved hurts that may be standing in the way of living a life of inner freedom and happiness. If you choose to take the time to truly connect with your four- legged friend, you may find the wisdom you are seeking; and insight on how to resolve a daunting situation. When you are ready to become aware and listen to the spiritual messengers that are always guiding you in the direction of knowing yourself, you behold authentic power and the necessary ingredients to heal your life from the inside-out. It’s true. Anything is possible when you are willing to expand your mind, open your heart, and feel the source of unconditional love.
I share this story with you for various reasons. First of all, I am an animal lover. And secondly, my passion and purpose is to help others make successful choices and offer inspirational insights on how to move forward. [For obvious reasons, the names in this story have been changed to maintain the integrity and privacy for all who are concerned.]
One afternoon, a gentleman named Darin came into my office for an intuitive consulting session for his 3 year old, 160 lbs., beautiful gray, great dane, Max. Max glowed with a kind, happy-go-lucky spirit and savored the attention from anyone who was willing to acknowledge his presence. He proved to be intelligent beyond his own good and quickly acquired the label of being a “high-maintenance problem child.” You see, Max had severe anxiety issues and hated to be left alone; even for a short period of time. For example: When Darin resigned Max to his doggie crate, (because he couldn’t be trusted otherwise) he would bark uncontrollably, and repeatedly spin in circles, until he would tip the crate over (with him in it) and break the door wide open. And then… veraciously proceeded to chew holes through the drywall, in hopes of burrowing his way to find his favorite human. It was no secret. This dog had been severely traumatized in numerous ways: including experiencing the underlying pain of lack of love and no stability. Throughout his journey, Max had continuously been tossed around from one family to the next, living in a total of 5 foster homes, until finally, one day, he was taken in by an owner who was willing to cater to his needs and give him a forever place to stay.
Undeniably, Max was shown unconditional love by his new owner. It came in the form of constant attention, daily walks, car rides and he was a regular client at doggie day care. But because Max’s behavior was getting to become costly: emotionally, physically and financially, Darin was at “odds” with what-to-do next. He thought that putting Max “to sleep” (euthanizing him) might be his only option for eliminating Max’s internal struggle and irrational behavior. Granted, this decision was not taken lightly, therefore; Darin was willing to give Max any chance he could before scheduling the final vet appointment.
The day Darin brought Max into my office to ask for inspired advice, my stomach twisted and turned when I heard about this dilemma. I wanted so badly to say something that would inevitably change Max’s destiny, but I was unsure of what that would be.
As we sat, conversing about the obvious, I was rubbing Max’s belly---and my intuition “hit” me like a ton of bricks! The real reason why Darin was sitting in front of me wasn’t because of Max! Max was only the catalyst to get Darin into my office. The issue remained with Darin ---and Max was sent to help his human friend heal various aspects of his life. Max was unintentionally shedding “light” (no pun intended) on his owner’s unresolved issues. The underlying pain of never belonging and abandonment Darin had faced throughout his entire life was finally being brought to the surface. Make no mistake, this unresolved issue was yearning to be thoroughly addressed, healed and released. It was all part of the Divine plan.
When I talked with Darin about the intuitive insight I received about their relationship, his eyes began to swell and tears began streaming down his face. He was experiencing the pain that had been suppressed for years, and now he was being given the opportunity to heal the past in the present moment.
I’ve often heard those who have rescued homeless animals say, “ I was the one who was actually being saved,” …and after hearing this statement, it seems to hold true in this instance, as well. The significance between this man and his dog seemed almost unreal.
So, as this life coaching session was coming to a close, Darin asked what should the next steps be to help Max find peace considering the circumstances. And my advice was, “With all your heart, empathize and have compassion for Max. And while you are doing this, empathize and have compassion for the boy within you. The one who was once neglected years ago. This experience is being brought to your consciousness so that you can heal yourself; and heal Max at the same time.” I also offered this suggestion, “Give Max one more week. And if the situation doesn’t change, then follow your heart when determining Max’s fate.” Darin replied, “Okay, and walked out.”
Fast- forward two days.
Every week I volunteer for hospice. But before we begin with the day’s activities, a few of us discuss the highlights of the week. (PS. There are no coincidences in life).
As we were sharing our thoughts, one woman said, “I have a story,” and everyone's ears perked up to listen! She said, “My neighbor owns a doggie day care and had the strangest thing happen to her today. One of her favorite clients, this beautiful gray, great dane was standing at the top of a staircase, but missed taking the first step; and unfortunately tumbled to his death. He shattered the bones in his hind legs and the fractures were unrepairable. They were forced to put him down, immediately. The owner was devastated and said, ‘I have just lost my best friend and one of the greatest teachers in my life.’ “
Yes. This is Max’s story and how these extraordinary circumstances prevented Darin from having to make the unbearable decision of putting him “to sleep.”
Honestly, I could barely believe the story myself. What were the chances of me hearing about my client, who literally came into my office 2 days prior in a completely unrelated environment!?? I was shocked and speechless. But at that precise moment, an expanded view of the “bigger picture” became obvious to me. Max’s desire to leave his physical body was irrefutable. In addition, he no longer wanted to cause his master further stress, heartache or pain. So, Max decided to take it upon himself and place his destiny into his own paws.
Needless to say, the following day, I received a phone call from Darin verifying the information I’d already known to be true about the death of Max.
In the end, Max remained a forever loyal companion as he demonstrated in this message so clearly: No relationship in life is ever a one-way street. We are ALL here to guide, inspire and empower each other (and the lives of furry critters) in the best way we know how. And the Divine blessing was that Darin and Max were given the opportunity of being brought together in order to heal similar wounds; and given the wherewithal to recognize the meaning behind the gift of giving and receiving unconditional love. You, too, can heal your life and be of assistance to those around you. Anything is possible when you add a big dose of LOVE! Love can and will heal any man, woman or pet’s heart with a little bit of effort and a lot of soul.

If you happen to find yourself getting caught up in the fear of the unknown, remind yourself to slow down, take a deep breath and feel the rhythm of your heart.
Your heart knows the truth. The truth that you have everything you need. YOU are whole, wise and wealthy beyond measure.
Stop. Center yourself and allow the beat of your "drum" to guide you in a clear direction when taking the next step. You don't need to know the "big picture" of what your life is suppose to BE, but you will know how to take the next step in divine time.
Quiet your mind. Breathe deeply and BE grateful for what you have today.
Fall has arrived and it’s time to reap the benefits from the seeds you’ve sown and harvest the fruits of your labor. This is also the season for transformation --and embracing change. The energetic shifts that occur during this time of year are palpable. Not only can you feel it, but you can see it! Ranging from various outdoor color schemes and mother nature’s furry creatures acquiring new winter coats, to the desire to eat hearty foods --change is pervasive.
And…it’s the opportune time to purge, and release stagnate chi or energy that may be holding you back. The Universe works in mysterious ways. But, in order for new opportunities, people and experiences to present themselves, it’s essential to make “space” for the shift to occur—in the mind, body and environment. Through intentionally letting go of excess baggage, you are communicating to the Universe that you are ready to move forward. The Universe is an unlimited supply of energy-- trust it. Be willing to let go of anything that is no longer serving you and detach--and this includes “stuff” --the material possessions you continuously find yourself shuffling from one corner to the next.
So, I wanted to share with you a feng shui tip that I make an effort to do every spring and fall. I clean house by clearing stagnant energy using lemon or orange essential oils and scrubbing the floor, baseboards and door handles. I also re-organize and give away clothes, books, stuff and remove clutter. I consciously move the energy in my house and office by “shifting” the chi: cleansing, shedding and purging. Remember, if your mind-set enforces insensible thoughts such as “there is not enough to go around, so I better keep this just in case” then you’re demonstrating a scarcity and lack mentality; therefore, closing the door for new opportunities and limiting the Universe’s ability to graciously give. If you believe the Universe is abundant, it will be. If you believe there isn’t enough to go around-- those beliefs will materialize as well. You get what you focus on ---consciously or unconsciously.
Purging can be a daunting process. Start small, but tackle it head on!! Begin with the basement, a corner in your house, the closet or maybe a drawer. Recycle papers, magazines, computers, clothes, blankets, or whatever it is that is taking up excess space. And, if the articles are still in good condition, consider donating these items to the homeless, schools and pet shelters.
The heaviness of toting around physical clutter can be quite cumbersome. Cleanse your environment and physically make room for abundance--internally and externally. Besides, it’s always the giving season! Share. Donate. Be a blessing and you will be blessed. What you give away is returned and magnified. You reap the seeds you sow.
I wanted to share with you a conversation I had with God last week. I know that when I receive intuitive messages for myself, I also need to share these words of inspiration with others. (My disclaimer: Spirit is right to the point when I ask for guidance. If the message seems a little harsh, well, it is, because that’s how I needed to hear it).
Last week, I said, “God, I need a miracle. I desire to take my business to the next level and sell more books. What do I need to do?” And this was the reply:
”If you choose NOT to “see” the miracle in everything and everyone, YOU are missing the point. Miracles and blessings are everywhere! If your ego needs to “see” a miracle, go outside and LOOK at a tree. Notice it’s magnificence. Imagine how many storms it had to weather in order to become the structure that it is today. Become aware. Look into the eyes of child or animal and feel their innocence. Take a moment--feel your own heartbeat. That’s a miracle!”
Get over yourself. Become miracle minded. Instead of asking for a miracle, BE A MIRACLE! Everywhere you go, look for ways to BE a miracle in somebody’s life. Period.
I began to look for ways on how I could positively impact anything (a friend, neighbor, stranger, an animal, or the environment). My goal was to serve, unconditionally--either through helping an entrepreneur promote their business, giving a compliment, a smile, holding a door, picking up litter, or simply by holding space for a complete stranger, without judgment or criticism, being in a state of peace and expressing love.
Guess what happened….
On Thursday, my book hit the best-sellers list on Amazon. Sure, that was really exciting and I’m eternally grateful. But, in all honesty, the best part of this exercise wasn’t about me or my book. It was about the joy I felt in my heart when I was on a mission to BE A MIRACLE for somebody else! It was so much fun!!!
Starting today, I challenge you to BE miracle minded. Be the miracle you are seeking in your own life! Start small. Do it for one-day, a week or a month. Journal about your experiences. Notice how your outside world begins to change with a slight shift in your consciousness.
With much love and gratitude,
P.S. If you know someone who may benefit from this message, please forward it. It just may be what they needed to hear….
