I forgot about this testimony until I saw it this morning on my fb feed…

It brought tears to my eyes. 

Happy tears, that is. 

A Charmed Journey …

My journey. My life. My memoir. 

And how it all began..

{It took blood, sweat and tears to be able to authentically write this book..(and the Trigger book!)}

Anyway …

After I was worn out from being worn out ..

and sick and tired of being sick and tired …

I needed to transform my life from the inside out. 

And as I was headed down to city park to live with the homeless people to find my meaning of happiness. 

God intervened.  He had other plans for my life and I was willing to change. 

Minutes prior to arriving at the park….

The Holy Spirit took over my steering wheel and LITERALLY drove me to a safe place to begin my life again …

 Seriously. 

Oh yes. God knows how to drive. 

Long story short ..

I found myself in a twin bed starring up at the popcorn ceiling and praying. 

I specifically said, “God I will do whatever it takes to change my life. Tell me what to do.” 

And He did. 

God gave me these instructions: 

1. Take TOTAL responsibility for your life. 
2. Understand your “role” and how you  contributed in each situation. 
3. Be GRATEFUL for everything in life. Everything! Especially the hard times recognizing what the life lessons taught you. 
4. WRITE A BOOK. 

I hesitated ….

but then said ok because I know better than to get into a wrestling match with God. 

He always wins. 

But I did make a request. 

I requested an endorsement from Dr Wayne Dyer.  I felt by having his name on my book would give me an ounce of credibility, as well as validate my intuition and knowing it was God’s voice that I was hearing. 

Now granted, I could have chosen NOT to follow the instructions , but I wasn’t willing to pay the consequences. 

I didn’t hear back from God right away about the endorsement …

Regardless, I continued to move forward with God’s instructions, trusting that He’d provide along the way. 

And He did. And way beyond my wildest imagination. 

Day and night I wrote this book. And most of the time I was sitting in coffee shops or under a tree because I was essentially “homeless.” 

Finally, A Charmed Journey was finished and had a hardcopy in my hands. I mailed a copy to Dr. Dyer asking for his endorsement. 

Well…wouldn’t you know it! 

Within 2 weeks, Wayne emailed me my endorsement and when he came to Denver for a conference I met him face to face and then I gave hm an energy healing session. 

I got his endorsement and He got a healing energy session from me. (Give and take) 

When I asked Dr. Dyer how he found MY book in the pile of thousands he said, “God told me to pick up your book. And then God told me to put my name on it. So, here you go. Now go set the world on fire.”

I laughed and we parted ways. 

So now that Trigger the Wonder Horse is out “there” with a whole other set of life lessons along the spiritual battle we encountered to be able to write and self-publish this book…

Setting the world on fire (in a Good way) sounds exciting. 

So my advice if you desire to transform your life from the inside out..

1. Follow God’s plan for your life. 

“Thy will be done”

2. Learn your life lessons. Patterns and sabotaging behaviors repeat themselves until you put a stop to the nonsense. 
3. Teachers are everywhere and in everything. And often in the form of the animal or possibly the next “homeless” person you meet. You never know who God is going to through in order to get YOUR attention. 
4. Make each day count. You’ve got one life to live. Make it a Good one.

I hope you’re taking time to get outside and bask in the beautiful summer sunshine!

The energy has been interesting this week. From balancing the cosmic vibrations of the full moon,  to the truth about our health and what’s been transpiring over the past 4 years, maintaining a higher frequency can be difficult.

So if you feel like you’re struggling to maintain an optimistic attitude and looking for ways to detox spiritually, mentally and physically,  focus on gratitude and root yourself Faith, knowing that God and the angelic realm are real and omnipresent.

The other day as I was walking to the gym, I crossed the parking lot. When I got to the sidewalk,  I looked down and noticed a piece of paper at my feet. I picked it up and read one of my favorite prayers, “The lamb of God.”

I took it as a sign that the angels were rejoicing and singing the praises of our God, and all that He is.

Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world,

have mercy on us.

Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world,

have mercy on us.

Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world,

grant us peace.

Here are a few suggestions on how to take back your health and energy, and align the mind, body and spirit.

–Do activities that make you happy!! Spend time around people and places that feed your soul and speak life into your body’s cells, emotionally and physically! Also, studies have shown that listening to music with 432 Hz relaxes the body, which leads to mental clarity and focus.

–Get grounded in nature. Mother Nature heals. Spend time in the sunlight and soaking up the rays. Boost your mood, balance your hormones and strengthen your immune system by allowing Nature to feed and nourish your spirit.

–Affirm that you are healed and Whole in all areas of your life. The body follows the mind. Remind ALL parts of Self that you are created in the image of God and that you are divinely guided and protected.

The other morning I went to the coffee shop before I went to my office. Entering my latest book, Trigger the Wonder Horse: Memoir of A Spiritual Warrior into a few contests was on my agenda plus I enjoy “working” with a cup of coffee in hand.

But that particular day, the process of completing my mission was beyond challenging.  From technical difficulties to the file being too big, it took patience and presence to get the job done! But after two hours of wiping the sweat from my palms,  I persevered.

Everything about that experience told me that I needed to go for a walk in nature.  My intention was to clear by mind and body from an overwhelmingly sensation of pressure and stress, and decided to stay close to home and walk in the neighborhood.

It was mid-afternoon and the park was quiet. Besides me, a couple were the only ones in the vicinity. I sat down at a picnic bench and began to pray.  I asked God for guidance about various things in my life, but most importantly, I wanted clarity about entering my book in the contests.  My exact words were, “God. Please give me a message that leaves no room for misinterpretation.”

 The weather felt like a warm spring day with the sun beaming down on my spine. It felt so good to soak in the sun’s nourishment.  But then, I was inspired to get up and back to business.

 I looked around the park wondering “who” is going to give me a message. I mean, the park was empty except for the couple, and they weren’t headed my direction.

I looked up to the sky. Is there a “sign” in the clouds of some sort?

Nothing. No message that I could decipher, anyway.

As I’m  ½ through the park, I rounded the corner and noticed a white piece of paper lying in the middle of the sidewalk.

There wasn’t a soul in sight.

My heart began to race and I thought to myself, “is that my message?”

I bent down and picked up the folded piece of paper. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was verse from the Bible that read, “2^nd Timothy Chapter 1, Verse 7: God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, LOVE and self-control. I love you, Shannon.”

I sat down and began to cry.  I was a bit overwhelmed by the “whole” experience of the morning and now I receive  a message, on a piece a paper, from Shannon. So to remain in alignment with who I am and what I do,  I chose to make a face book live video and show others what had just transpired, in real time.

Five minutes or so went by, and then a woman approached me asking if I needed anything. I told her my tears were “happy” tears but I appreciated her stopping to ask.

I caught my breath. I folded the piece of paper and put it in my pocket. I walked home.

I put the note where I can be reminded of how God works.

Mysteriously, through people, and all in His timing.

Last week I shared a message about the fall season and how it’s the perfect time of year to let “stuff” go….

Well today I’ve been inspired to share another short message about transformation, and how we are all on a journey into transforming into something Greater.

Last Saturday I received a phone call that my good friend, Yvonne, is in hospice. She’s was diagnosed with a brain tumor 4 years ago and is only 47 yrs old. Her son, Niall, is a big fan of Trigger the Wonder Horse and one afternoon Trigger and I taught Niall how to pray.

When I received news about Yvonne I immediately got into truck and headed her direction. I wanted to see her one last time before she made her earthy transition.

Well today I got another phone call that she is indeed knocking on the doors of heaven.

I was in the park when my phone rang so it seemed natural to sit awhile longer in nature and say a few prayers.

So as I’m walking home I asked God to give me sign that Yvonne would be okay. And then I looked down. A caterpillar was making his/her way across the sidewalk

I bent down and picked it up.

And then a spiritual message popped into my mind:

“Yvonne is getting her wings just like this caterpillar will eventually grow into hers.”

Nature amazes me in every way.

Besides I want to be proficient and know how, when and where to use this kind of “tool” for self-defense. You know, just in case I’m ever in a situation when I need my reactions to be swift and accurate, and “kick in” to defend myself or others.

Just like any “tool,”  the feet, hands and fingers are also powerful instruments for transmitting and moving energy.

So during last week’s workshop, one of the other instructors snapped this photo of JJ working with me to “feel” for the gun’s wall before pulling the trigger.  (This will be a slow process to master but it is a lot of fun!)

At first glance of this photo,  I didn’t notice the beam of light on the left until I looked again. Then, the thought came to mind: “God was holding my gun steady while I was busy focusing on my trigger finger.”

So whether you’re focusing your hands (and heart) for using the power of prayer (photo at bottom taken when praying over Trigger,) holding a gun, or a 4 year old pushing the throttle while driving a 3 wheeler, the Light is always with you.

You always have the opportunity to be the force of Light in any given situation to use as you’re guided, or use the Force for intuitive guidance for making the “right” choices in life.

Remember….

The Higher your internal vibration the more efficient you’ll be in “seeing” the BIGGER picture for achieving optimal health, happiness, goals and desires.

A picture is worth a thousand words…

and the evidence is everywhere.

The mind is a powerful thing. And chances are if your mind/spirit are not in alignment with your heart’s desire, you may be sabotaging your own experience. You can either use the vibration of fear as the motivator for your goals or the saboteur in what you desire to create.

Yes, moving through fear may be a daunting process because your “story” once had relevance but it no longer needs to be that way.

The acronym for FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real and beholds the energy to stifle your success especially when gone undetected.

This is why you gingerly approach new opportunities with eyes wide open and let your intuitive voice be your guide on how to proceed forward.

Be on the lookout on how God may show up in your life. This may be the small miracle you’ve been seeking. Wisdom can appear in a variety of ways such as: messages appearing on license plates, strangers on the street, songs on the radio or frost on the hood of a car.

Set your intention and open your heart to receive all that the Universe has to offer.
