I love meeting people and listening to interesting stories. I also enjoy telling stories because I often find myself in  “out-of-the-ordinary” situations; therefore, if I can share my experience with another, who knows how it will come full circle in Divine time. 

 I do my best to be obedient to God’s voice and follow His guidance. And when I find myself needing to make one of two choices, I tune into my intuition and pray my way through the action I’ve chosen.  

I mean, when God gives instructions, I believe it’s best to move your feet.

Storytime!

In my opinion …

One of the most interesting places to meet people and have great conversations is in the sauna or cold plunge pool at the gym. You never know who you’re going to meet or what we’ll talk about. Regardless, it’s a joy to meet like-minded individuals working to improve ourselves from the inside out. 

A few weeks ago, a handful of us were sitting in the sauna, sweating and talking about the cold pool that had just been introduced to the gym.

To be honest, none of us were that excited about sitting in the 55 degree water for an extended period of time, but we’ve discovered that the aftereffects are life changing. 

Moreover ….

We were talking about life experiences and someone asked me if I’d ever cold plunged into a lake. I said, “Yes. But not intentionally.” Then I proceeded to share an adventure that happened years ago while walking around a lake with my dogs. It was the dead of winter and a stranger’s dog fallen through the ice, so I jumped in and brought him back to shore.

As my story telling in the sauna came to an end,  I headed out the door and playfully said, 

“No dog dies under my watch.” 

We all chuckled and parted ways. 

Weeks later….

I saw the couple in the sauna, again.  The gentlemen looked at me and said, “Hey. Are you the girl who told us the dog story a few weeks ago?!” 

I replied, “yes.” 

He said, “You’ll never guess what happened to us on our walk!?

This morning we took our dogs on the trail and a woman approaching us said, ‘Do you realize you’re being followed by three coyotes?!’ I turned around and sure enough a small pack of coyotes were stalking us. 

So I raised my hands and shouted at the top of my lungs. The coyotes scampered as fast as they could until a neighbor’s dog jumped out of his backyard and into the center of the pack. 

I immediately knew I had to do a something to save this dog!  So without hesitation, I unleashed my golden retriever and told her to ‘go get em!’

With no fear, my dog took off after the coyotes and the neighbor’s dog was able to get away and run to safety. 

My golden retriever barreled back to me with the biggest smile on her face. It’s as if she knew she’d saved a furry friend.

I looked at my wife and said, ‘no dog dies under my watch.’

We both smiled, laughed and thought of you. 

Thank you for sharing your story because it inspired us to do what we needed to do in our predicament.

Moral of the story …

When you need to “jump” into action for yourself or a friend, do so! And do it UN-afraid! Move ahead with conviction as if you KNOW you’re doing the “right” thing and trust the power of the Holy Spirit is running through your veins.

All in all….

Life is interesting, isn’t it? Kinda like we are walking each other home one step at a time. I also find it ironic how Divinely orchestrated this Universe is, and how we are designed to “show up” in each other’s lives to share a particular event that may impact someone’s future. 

Btw ….

Dog is spelled God backwards. So there’s that.

I hope you’re taking time to get outside and bask in the beautiful summer sunshine!

The energy has been interesting this week. From balancing the cosmic vibrations of the full moon,  to the truth about our health and what’s been transpiring over the past 4 years, maintaining a higher frequency can be difficult.

So if you feel like you’re struggling to maintain an optimistic attitude and looking for ways to detox spiritually, mentally and physically,  focus on gratitude and root yourself Faith, knowing that God and the angelic realm are real and omnipresent.

The other day as I was walking to the gym, I crossed the parking lot. When I got to the sidewalk,  I looked down and noticed a piece of paper at my feet. I picked it up and read one of my favorite prayers, “The lamb of God.”

I took it as a sign that the angels were rejoicing and singing the praises of our God, and all that He is.

Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world,

have mercy on us.

Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world,

have mercy on us.

Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world,

grant us peace.

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday!

Whew! It’s been a ride!

First of all….

Thank you for the love and support during my New York trip. I’m eternally grateful. Many of you know that the Trigger the Wonder Horse book has been my  “baby”  over the past 25 years, and it was a bit surreal to see our cover posted on the Nasdaq board with a shiny gold star.

So, again, thank you for the love and support.

And while I was in New York, I met Robin Roberts from Good Morning, America. We talked about “my” story and as we parted ways she said, “God Bless you.”

Now I will wait to see what manifests.

In the meantime, the key is become aware of what “shows” up unexpectedly…

and then put the pieces of the puzzle together.

For instance,

On Friday morning, as I was walking out of Target, I looked down and found the Ace of Hearts playing card on the ground. So of course I picked it up and thanked the angels for sending intuitive signs and symbols.

But I also knew there was a deeper message attached to this card…

And then I intuitively heard, “remain heart centered”  followed up with a few other instructions for magnifying the energy I wish to attract.

And as you know…

If there is one thing I love to do is “move” energy and help others heal from within.

Here are a few suggestions on how to take back your health and energy, and align the mind, body and spirit.

–Do activities that make you happy!! Spend time around people and places that feed your soul and speak life into your body’s cells, emotionally and physically! Also, studies have shown that listening to music with 432 Hz relaxes the body, which leads to mental clarity and focus.

–Get grounded in nature. Mother Nature heals. Spend time in the sunlight and soaking up the rays. Boost your mood, balance your hormones and strengthen your immune system by allowing Nature to feed and nourish your spirit.

–Affirm that you are healed and Whole in all areas of your life. The body follows the mind. Remind ALL parts of Self that you are created in the image of God and that you are divinely guided and protected.

The other morning I went to the coffee shop before I went to my office. Entering my latest book, Trigger the Wonder Horse: Memoir of A Spiritual Warrior into a few contests was on my agenda plus I enjoy “working” with a cup of coffee in hand.

But that particular day, the process of completing my mission was beyond challenging.  From technical difficulties to the file being too big, it took patience and presence to get the job done! But after two hours of wiping the sweat from my palms,  I persevered.

Everything about that experience told me that I needed to go for a walk in nature.  My intention was to clear by mind and body from an overwhelmingly sensation of pressure and stress, and decided to stay close to home and walk in the neighborhood.

It was mid-afternoon and the park was quiet. Besides me, a couple were the only ones in the vicinity. I sat down at a picnic bench and began to pray.  I asked God for guidance about various things in my life, but most importantly, I wanted clarity about entering my book in the contests.  My exact words were, “God. Please give me a message that leaves no room for misinterpretation.”

 The weather felt like a warm spring day with the sun beaming down on my spine. It felt so good to soak in the sun’s nourishment.  But then, I was inspired to get up and back to business.

 I looked around the park wondering “who” is going to give me a message. I mean, the park was empty except for the couple, and they weren’t headed my direction.

I looked up to the sky. Is there a “sign” in the clouds of some sort?

Nothing. No message that I could decipher, anyway.

As I’m  ½ through the park, I rounded the corner and noticed a white piece of paper lying in the middle of the sidewalk.

There wasn’t a soul in sight.

My heart began to race and I thought to myself, “is that my message?”

I bent down and picked up the folded piece of paper. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was verse from the Bible that read, “2^nd Timothy Chapter 1, Verse 7: God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, LOVE and self-control. I love you, Shannon.”

I sat down and began to cry.  I was a bit overwhelmed by the “whole” experience of the morning and now I receive  a message, on a piece a paper, from Shannon. So to remain in alignment with who I am and what I do,  I chose to make a face book live video and show others what had just transpired, in real time.

Five minutes or so went by, and then a woman approached me asking if I needed anything. I told her my tears were “happy” tears but I appreciated her stopping to ask.

I caught my breath. I folded the piece of paper and put it in my pocket. I walked home.

I put the note where I can be reminded of how God works.

Mysteriously, through people, and all in His timing.

I felt inspired to share a couple of stories with you tonight.

It’s been a week of spiritual surprises and here are a few highlights to brings a smile and Hope to your evening.

Story #1

A client (I’ll call her, Susan) I hadn’t seen in a few years came into my office today for an intuitive reading and cranial sacral session. She originally came to me after a car accident and needed “work” to re-balance her central nervous system.

When I saw her today I immediately gave her a big hug! She sat down and with tears in her eyes said, “you wouldn’t believe how I found your number.”

The other day I was praying about who I should talk to about my “challenges” and then I walked into a room and your business card was lying in the middle of the floor. So I took that as a sign I needed to come in ASAP.”

Susan had questions about her boyfriend, and their relationship and wanted guidance on how to break patterns she was noticing within herself.

And then the flood gates opened. Several of her loved ones, who have crossed over, had spiritual messages for her.

It began with her business partner/best friend. She unexpectedly passed away a few months ago and wanted to give Susan a specific message to remember the “why” when they began their business. She also relayed information about important paperwork and passwords.

And then, another friend who passed from pancreatic cancer had a message for her son that she wanted Susan to pass along to him.

Her dog, Gracie, (yes, animals speak) who is still alive and well but was not happy with her human mom! Susan moved her dog bed to the lower level and she was not happy about it. Gracie wanted to sit next to the front door! Animals are so funny!

And then sure enough, her dad came through like he did the last time. He passed away about 20 years ago. He mentioned “mom” and how he’s watching over their relationship with specifics about her health condition.

And finally, I reset Susan’s cranial sacral flow to rebalance the energy moving up and down her spine to get her back into the “flow” of life!

I love this “work!” It is so rewarding and I’m grateful that I get to make the connection of Love through spiritual messages and healing energy.

The power of Love is transformative. And remember, you are a powerful co-creator in how you shape your reality.

Story #2

So last Thursday I sat down and entered a few book contests but the technical difficulties were beyond challenging!

As you know, Trigger the Wonder Horse is a deeply, spiritual book and it took every ounce of energy to write and publish it.

Well after an exhausting 2 hours of navigating through glitches, the book was entered and I needed go for a walk to clear my head.

I began to pray and asked God to send me a sign to let me know I did the “right” thing, and preferably a sign that can’t be misinterpreted on any level.

It was mid-day and I was pretty much the only person on my walk except for a couple.

As I was about 1/2 through my walk, I looked ahead on the trail and noticed a white piece of paper lying in the middle of the sidewalk, with no body in sight.

My heart started to pound and I thought to myself, “is that for me?” I bent down to pick it up. I unfolded the piece of paper and it was a Bible verse that was handwritten by Shannon. ( I have no idea who Shannon is) But apparently God worked through Shannon that day to give me a message.

Sometimes life is stranger than fiction.

So when I got out of bed yesterday morning I thought to myself, “Ok God. How you gonna show up?” I even sent a text to my friend who sent me the video…

So as I was going about my day, I was on the lookout for God but didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary, except the 2 pennies I found at the gym on the locker room floor.

Well tonight on the way home from the gym, He showed up. I pulled my truck over just to take the picture.

And if you look closely it’s a double .

Always be on the lookout for Wonders of the universe.

PS. One more thing, this morning as I was walking into church this I noticed these 2 gold coins on the steps. Granted, they’re chocolate but nevertheless. I didn’t pick them up, tho. They had a few ants on them.

Hello everyone,

Many blessings to you.

I hope this email finds you well and gives you a sense of hope after you read this short note.

I feel that now more than ever we need to be reminded that God is in control and our “job” as a spiritual being having a human experience is to balance our inner energy, align our vibration and focus on the Good.

So when you’re out and about in Mother Nature please take a moment to look up or look down, whatever you’re being “called” to do..

By taking the time to gaze into the clouds, the tress, the birds, and the flowers you will be reminded that God is everywhere and His gifts are abundant.

Inspired short stories 

Story #1

A few weeks ago I was in California teaching a spiritual workshop and as I was walking through a field of tall grasses I looked down and noticed a “nut.”

Now, I am NOT a nut expert or was standing underneath a “nut” tree and there weren’t any other nuts insight!!!!  ….(except for me, of course:)

Anyway…

I’m assuming this is a walnut but what I found interesting is the shell was cracked straight down the middle and when I picked it up and separated the pieces, I clearly saw two hearts.

I smiled and my first thought was, “Thanks God. I know we are all a little nuts.” And my second thought, “it’s through the process of healing and being united with our own heart and inner Spirit is when we feel the most Whole and complete.”

And the third thought, “The physical body. It’s about integrating the masculine and feminine “sides” during the transformation process.”

So from this point of receiving Intuitive messages all I could think about is God is everywhere, and watching.

Story #2

As I was walking through the yoga studio’s parking lot, lying next to my truck were two gold coins. No, they aren’t real. They actually look as if they’re from an arcade/game room but again, no arcade is in the vicinity.

Regardless I picked them up and put them in my pocket.

But when I got home I felt inspired to search the words “walnuts” and “gold coins,” separately, to see if there was any correlation in the Bible pertaining to these items.

The answer is yes and if you’re interested you can do your own research.

I don’t desire to push my belief system on anyone. I only share my experiences.

FYI …I’ve put the gold coins in a very safe place, just in case.

Story #3

Be on the lookout for…

Angels.  Yes, I said angels. Heaven is invading the earth.

Last week during an intuitive energy session with a client an “angel”  appeared in my office bringing a spiritual message.

Because I am clairvoyant and clairaudient the message came through loud and clear.

The angel said to me, “tell her she saw me and I am real.”

I had no idea what “he” meant but it felt as if he was standing in the room with us.

So after the energy session she sat up on the table and I asked her with a straight face, “have you met anyone out of the ordinary lately?”

I didn’t know how else to phrase it.

She began laughing and said, “you’ll never believe this but yesterday I was in Whole Foods and saw a man dressed in white pants, a blue sports coats wearing a huge pair of black sunglasses.  He looked like he was from a movie!  I told myself, ‘he must be an angel’ but as I got closer to him he disappeared into thin air. I couldn’t believe my eyes.”

Her and I looked at each other in disbelief and then began to laugh.

Apparently angels come and go as they please.

So there you go.

 Your heart knows the truth.  The truth that you have everything you need.  YOU are whole, wise and wealthy beyond measure.

 Stop. Center yourself and allow the beat of your “drum” to guide you in a clear direction when taking the next step.  You don’t need to know the “big picture” of what your life is suppose to BE, but you will know how to take the next step in divine time.  

 Quiet your mind. Breathe deeply and BE grateful for what you have today.

 Last week,  I said, “God, I need a miracle. I desire to take my business to the next level and sell more books. What do I need to do?”  And this was the reply:

 Message #1

”If you choose NOT to “see” the miracle in everything and everyone, YOU are missing the point.  Miracles and blessings are everywhere! If your ego needs to “see” a miracle, go outside and LOOK at a tree.  Notice it’s magnificence. Imagine how many storms it had to weather in order to become the structure that it is today.  Become aware. Look into the eyes of child or animal and feel their innocence.  Take a moment–feel your own heartbeat. That’s a miracle!”

 Message #2

Get over yourself.  Become miracle minded. Instead of asking for a miracle, BE A MIRACLE!  Everywhere you go, look for ways to BE a miracle in somebody’s  life.  Period.

 My mission:

I began to look for ways on how I could positively impact anything (a friend, neighbor, stranger, an animal, or the environment).  My goal was to serve, unconditionally–either through helping an entrepreneur promote their business, giving a compliment, a smile, holding a door, picking up litter, or simply by holding space for a complete stranger, without judgment or criticism,  being in a state of peace and expressing love.

 Guess what happened….

 On Thursday, my book hit the best-sellers list on Amazon.  Sure, that was really exciting and I’m eternally grateful.  But, in all honesty, the best part of this exercise wasn’t about me or my book.  It was about the joy I felt in my heart when I was on a mission to BE A MIRACLE for somebody else!  It was so much fun!!!

 Starting today, I challenge you to BE miracle minded.  Be the miracle you are seeking in your own life!  Start small.  Do it for one-day, a week or a month.  Journal about your experiences.  Notice how your outside world begins to change with a slight shift in your consciousness.
